Miss Brooke Roberts

Hello mammoth students and families! My name is Brooke Roberts and I could not be more excited for this school year! This is my second year at Mammoth Heights and my second year teaching 4th grade. I was born in Alabama and my family moved to Parker, Colorado when I was in 2nd grade. Growing up in Douglas County was a highlight of my childhood and I am truly honored to continue my journey in the district as a teacher! I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies of Elementary Education and with an additional license in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. I feel that, as an educator of young children, I am truly living the dream! When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Camping, riding four wheelers, hiking, and traveling are a few of my favorite summer activities. I also enjoy watching movies, reading, and cuddling with my two cats, Aspen and Annie. One of my favorite quotes is from the novel Wonder by R.J. Palacio, and it states, “When given the choice between being right and being kind, choose kind.” I am determined to inspire my students to choose kindness this year as we learn and grow as a class! I am confident that, together, we will reach “mammoth heights” as we dream, strive, and become!

Miss Pam Nelson

Hello! My name is Pam Nelson, and I feel so lucky to be a part of the MHE community! Education is my passion! There is no greater joy for me than to help kids grow as people, learn new things, and experience the feeling of success. I am a strong believer than students should have choice when it comes to their learning - they should be included in the design of their education through collaboration with their peers and teachers. Helping students build a strong foundation, encourage them to take risks, and support them through challenges are my ultimate goals! I am a Colorado native who grew up in Falcon, CO. I spent four years in Kansas, where I attended Fort Hays State University. There, I graduated with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. I moved back here to Parker, Colorado where I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of Douglas County elementary schools at all grade levels. This will be my 2nd year at MHE! On a personal note, I grew up in a large family of 8 with three dogs. I love the chaos that comes with being in such a big family, with love and energy all around! In my free time, I enjoy anything outside, including watching and playing sports (Go Broncos!) and sitting around a fire, and am a huge movie buff! I am truly looking forward to meeting you all. We have an exciting journey ahead of us!

Mr. Paul Lopez

Hello!  My name is Mr. Lopez.  I’m excited to embark on my second year at Mammoth Heights Elementary School.  I look forward to creating a partnership with you during the upcoming school year. Most importantly, it’s an exciting opportunity to cultivate a relationship with your most precious commodity - your child.

As far as me, I have a master’s degree in Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Colorado at Denver. I continue to refine my personal practice as an educator.  I constantly seek opportunities to grow and reflect on my craft.  Likewise, when I’m not reading, participating in professional development classes, hiking, or fishing, I enjoy watching my kids meet their personal goals and celebrate their victories in life.
